Technical Site Services Manager

Cooltherm are looking to hire a Technical Site Services Manager to lead within the Projects team. The role will provide assistance in the design and delivery processes related to the supply of turnkey projects.

Although not a limiting factor, the role will be predominantly focused on chillers and heat pumps across every sector in which Cooltherm are involved.

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Assisting in the design process by undertaking site surveys, to enable selections and quotations to be created (by others)
Assisting in design of turnkey project installations (chillers/heat pumps) by proposing outline technical solutions
Commissioning of equipment and systems including Hydronic system, Chiller and Heat Pumps
Supervision and management of sub-contractors during installation and commissioning
Supporting Project Managers to fulfil turnkey projects to completion as required
Surveying project installations and providing technical reports
Snagging of project installations and resolution of identified issues
Attending/ chairing site meetings with sub-contractors
Managing sub-contractor resource
Site set up and principal contractor engagement
Site Health & Safety Management, Conducting H&S audits, ensuring RAMS are being adhered to
Delivering Toolbox Talks
Liaising with clients on site, representing Cooltherm alongside and in place of the project manager as necessary
All other duties within the capability of the job holder

Key Qualifications and Experience

Strong background in Engineering with hands-on technical experience of a wide range of HVAC plant including industrial and commercial Heating and Cooling systems and Hydronics
Experience managing Health and Safety with suitable qualifications
Contract/commercial and project management experience
